Michele, The vacation was of course fun and also strenuous. All that walking around in the humid heat. Ugh! I had loads of fun though despite. One of the days I spent at Universal, where my friend Scott works. I'm in the process of typing out blogs about my Disney vacation for my MySpace page. The ride I rode the most was Test Track, because it's such an odd ride. My favorite show was Philharmagic; that is so awesome. At Universal the Spider-Man ride rocks. I love that ride; simply amazing. At the Restaurant Akershus in EPCOT, the desert was delicious, but it was so much I didn't have room for all of it. Anyway, I won't write a whole travel diary here. Before going on the vacation, I recommended you/Magical Travel to the person I work with, Misty, because she's been thinking of taking a vacation with her son near the start of next year, and WDW is one of the 2 places she's considering. Anyway, I recommended you immensely to her. Thanks for asking about my vacation. Take care, and I might keep in touch with you in general off and on through the months, just for the heck of it. And of course, whenever I can take another vacation I'll contact you right away,

Just wanted to send you a few pictures and say thank you for helping us with our trip. We had a great time, your planning was excellent. The kids had a blast, mom and dad did too! The character dinners were such a nice way to meet them and so much yummy food! We had great timing on our transportation to the parks and saw as much as we could. Elizabeth loved the boutique, that was so fun. Ethan loved Splash Mountain, parades, and fireworks! Thanks again, it couldn't have been a better trip!

Angela, Thanks for your note. We are back and unpacked, but still sorting through the 600+ photos that we took while there. It was a wonderful time at Disney and the weather was (mostly) warm and dry. McKenna loved seeing all the princesses and Mickey, Minnie, and pretty much everyone else in costume, and she rode as many rides as the rest of us did. Thanks also for the gift basket with the Minnie doll, photo album, and everything else in it -- it was a nice surprise and McKenna ended up sleeping with Minnie every night! We loved the Wilderness Lodge -- great ambiance, convenient travel to Magic Kingdom by boat and bus, and the pools and geyser were great to see. Our room had a view of the pool and the lake, and the two queen beds worked out fine. The only hitch that we encountered was that three days before we arrived, I had called Wilderness Lodge directly to ask about getting a room with one queen and one bunk bed. The hotel receptionist agreed on the phone but three days later when we checked in we were told they were unavailable ( a bit disappointing after we'd promised McKenna that she was FINALLY going to get to sleep in a bunk bed). The flag family opportunity was also unavailable, so I guess both go very quickly. We went to all the major parks -- Hollywood Studios (first day), Epcot (second day), Magic Kingdom (dinner second day, all third day), Downtown and Epcot (fourth day) and Animal Kingdom (fifth day), then back to Magic Kingdom for our last couple of hours before heading to the airport. The parks that had the Extra Magic Hours didn't match up with the parks where our meal reservations were, but we talked to a Magic Kingdom employee and he thought that the extra hours actually attracted more people than was worth it. So it all worked out fine... McKenna loved Magic Kingdom the best (surprise, surprise) and especially the Dumbo ride, Runaway Railroad, and the Goofy Barnstormer -- probably because she got to ride on it with Goofy as soon as the park opened (they picked her to open up Toontown, since she was dressed in her Ariel costume complete with crown... she also was the first in line for Goofy's, Donald's and Pluto's signatures... definitely princess treatment). Also, the Cinderella dinner in the castle was also special, but we'd probably do it as a lunch next time. McKenna was pretty worn out by dinner, and we didn't realize that there aren't any characters to do autographs during dinner time (just a brief song from the Fairy Godmother and the two mice). We loved the Japanese dinner and were equally impressed with the buffet at Tusker House.... very glad we did the meal plan and had the reservations lined up.Anyway, guess that's enough as a summary. Here's two of our hundreds of pictures, and we wanted to thank you for setting this up for us. It was a magical vacation, even if we wound up walking many, many miles each day.... our favorite part was seeing how different each of the parks were and watching the parades and fireworks together as a family! Michele, We just got back from a perfect vacation. Thanks so much for all the assistants you gave Susan. The room was located just right to be able to walk to bus and food court without fainting because of the distance. God just opened up so many blessings for us.....the weather was absolutely beautiful everyday....the girls received some special privileges from the Dream Team....our breakfast at the Grand Floridian was soooo special. We were seated at the best table in the house with plenty of room for the Disney characters to move among the girls. I hope you have a warm fuzzy feeling just knowing how you enabled us to take advantage of so many things.
